Submissions

Contributions to our magazine are always welcome. Dogs...Naturally! is devoted to dog owners, breeders and professionals who are dedicated to using alternative health care, raw feeding, and positive training methods with their dogs. Our readership is made up of health professionals, trainers, breeders and pet owners, some of whom are new to natural care and some of whom have many years of experience under their belts. Features and columns will deal with raw feeding, vaccines, homeopathy, TCM and other alternative medicines, breeding, training and behavior.

Feature articles should be 1200 to 1500 words in length and should focus on these major topics. Features should have some photographic content although this is not necessary in some cases. There is also room for shorter humerous or reflective pieces (under 500 words). We may also include recent news, training tips, quotes, or club announcement. Please send your queries first so that we might help with the direction or content of each issue.

Dogs...naturally! is a high quality magazine with many visually stunning photographs. Photos may be submitted with articles or sent to us separately.

We reserve the right to edit articles, but it is our policy to make as few changes as possible in the material that is sent to us. In sending an article for publication, the author represents that he/she is the sole owner of the rights therein. Copyright and ownership of articles submitted remain with the author, except we would like to retain the first magazine publication rights for both print and electronic publication.

The deadline for submission for the next issue of Dogs...Naturally! is April 23, 2010.
